Admiral / Elephant insurance

As I'm sure many of us know, they don't insure the Tuscan, which is quite irritating given the low on-line quotes they give for the other models.

So I emailed them explaining that I was sure it was a mistake of their part and got this response:

"Thanks you for your e mail on the 15th June. I apologise that it has taken
so long for you to receive a reply, but I have been waiting for a response
from our Underwriters.

The Tuscan was taken off our lists some while ago based on the number of
claims that were receiving from this vehicle. I have questioned the
Underwriting Manager about this, as you correctly point out, we do cover
other TVR's on our system, and it seems peculiar not to include this model.

I am delighted to report that following a further review by the Underwriting
team, we should be including the Tuscan back onto our list from early next
week.

Thank you very much for bringing this matter to light, and I do hope that
you will log onto our website in the near future to see if we are
competitive for you with your car."


So it looks like we'll have another option to choose.
