Sony NEX C3

Can someone help please?
Just bought my son a Sony NEX C3 and would like to get him a fisheye lens to go on it.
Sony do one, but do i need to buy the pancake lens aswell for the fisheye to sit on?
Have spoken to SOny , jessops etc and no one can give me a straight answer.

If you are looking at the VCL-ECF1, then that is a Fisheye adaptor which is used in conjunction with the E-mount 16mm Pancake Lens.
