I've just come back from the most exhausting weekend ever, we failed to get places in the actual event (thur/fri last weekend) so went up on Friday night to ride the course over the weekend while all the markers were still in place and I can honestly say I have never experienced anything anywhere near as tough in my life from the 500 or so starters about 50% finished and I can see why. Out of the 4 of us that went we only lost one to hospital for x rays to neck and back injury (nothing broken they think but further tests this week) but the course is awsome it has some of the hardest off road terrain I've ever seen and its so remote you see no walkers, horses or other obsticals a true highly recommended and we've all vowed to get our entries in earlier for next year (well all except Mr bad neck who says bollox to it )

I did indeed, but at times wished I'd had a nice light 250 2 stroke, having said that a mate who was on a CRF250X still suffered as much as me and hasn't made it to work today because he hurts too much It really is an Iron Man of the off road world.

Oh yes my PM routes to home so I won't get it till later (infact I probably won't switch it on at home tonight but crawl into bed by 8 instead.
