Canon EOS 350D--------- ERR 01

Over the last couple of weeks i have noticed when i take a pic, i am presented with a message displaying ERR 01, the shutter works but it slightly higher pitched so i know the picture has not been taken. It was happening a lot yesterday, has anyone experienced this before??? I think i may need to get my camera checked out.

I would appreciate your views.

IIRC, that's an interface between lens and camera issue - so clean the contacts.

First port of call is to check the manual fo rthe error code (or Google)
