Small lump in earlobe

Anybody else have a problem with this? It seems to come and go, a tiny little ball like thing in my right earlobe. About 2-3mm in diameter? Assuming it's quite harmless but it is quite annoying!

I was going to say keloids, but they don't fade away.
It's probably a the equivalent of one of those deep spots that don't come to a head.

I get them in my left earlobe occasionally. I think they are just sebaceous cysts. They always go away after a while, but I don't know why they only appear on the left.

Had one a few times the last had to be burst I thought it was due to high cholesterol but maybe not!

I get these, probably one or two a year. Have always just assumed they are like spots you would get anywhere else, and they have usually gone within a month. Wouldn't be suprised if it is caused by certain foods...not easy to work out what though. The food hospital that has been on channel 4 of late shows how many things can be caused and cured through what we eat. For me, if I eat something containing a lot of sugar e.g a full chocolate bar, pack of winegums etc, I will have one or two cystic type spots 3 weeks later everytime without fail

I think they are just cysts, I get them every now and they, some can be quite sore too.

yep ive got one currently in my left earlobe.
