Twitchy/Snatchy V Twin Power Problems
Discussion
On the Mille the best tweak must have been going from a 17 to 15 tooth front sprocket; the engine spins up more easily so the low speed stuff isn't as snatchy.
Edited to say a lot of twins are over geared (to help them pass the noise regs?) anyway from the factory.

What can be done to smoothen the low down power on a Vtwin (748/sp1's etc..)?
Cheers
I take it you're talking about snatchiness in low gears?
Heavier flywheel?
BTW a smaller front sprocket will have the effect of making the throttle even more sensitive. It will raise the revs at a given speed, though.
Only real solution is to slip the clutch more.
