My PC is pretty old and I wanted to know what gaming PC's other people on here are using now, my one is not so good for the latest games frown

Here is my spec

Intel Core 2 Duo E8500
Asus P5QL Pro motherboard
HD 4850 graphics card
4GB RAM
550W HEC PSU
Windows Vista
Some Mesh case that is not very nice

So how out of touch am I? ... And who has the best gaming PC here smile

The Core 2 Duo E8500 isnt too shabby give most games arnt limited by the CPU so much (though some ARE and can use 4 or more cores now).

I think you'd be fine with a more up to date graphics card.

Dell XPS 720 H2C
Intel QX6850 Extreme CPU @ 3.2GHz
8GB DDR2
ATi HD6870 GPU

Purchased in 2007/08 and only needed to add 4GB of ram and replace the old Nvidia 8800GTX's and still plays all games with no issues. I plan a new machine build after xmas to see me set for another few years.

Also remember that game performance depends on how many pixels your pushing to the monitor! biggrin

Q6600 @ 3.4ghz
8GB ddr3 @ 1800mhz
285GTX @ 670mhz

1080p bf3 is its limit, wont run it on high either but I'm not gonna complain when I spent about 200-300 on it 2.5 years ago

I like to be able to game when I am working away from home, so I have a capable laptop for this and the self built and overclocked desktop for when I am at home. Desktop OS is Win7 Ultimate 64, Laptop OS is Win7 Professional 64. Currently I am playing BF3 and Skyrim - Bf3 is running everything on high happily on Desktop and everything on Medium (plus textures on high) on the Laptop happily. Definitely easier to play on the desktop though.

Currently running:

GA-H55M-USB3 mobo
i3 540 overclocked at 3.95GHz
4GB Corsair RAM
Radeon HD6950 2GB Graphics Card
Samsung 2443BW 24" Monitor
Logitech Keyboard, Mouse and Speakers
Track IR 5
MS Force Feedback 2 stick
Windows 7 32 Bit

After Christmas I'll be upgrading it to:

Asus Z68 Mobo
i5 2500K overclocked at 4.6Ghz
8Gb RAM
Windows 7 64 Bit

I'm also toying with the idea of going to 3x 24" monitors as my graphics card will easily do it, but not completely sold on the idea as yet!

I've got a Sony Vaio SB 13.3", Core i5 2520m with AMD Radeon HD 6470M 512MB and 8GB ram.

It's not really a gaming PC but runs a lot of games nicely (struggles with things like GTA IV).

I also have the 720 H2C, clocked to 3.6Ghz, dual GTX460 cards, Windows 7 64 bit Ultimate and 8gb of ram.

And still runs games well.
