Research Poll - Model Release Form usage.

Afternoon chaps and chapesses. I know the argument about model release forms is as old as the hills - this is research for a paper so would very much appreciate your input

I've put no. The only time I would need one is to submit to US magazines and I've only submitted reportage (editorial as they call it) shots to them so haven't needed one so far.

When I shoot people, I get a form signed. No regrets. Still using paper although friends swear by the independent but Getty-approved app(s) for iPhone.

Missed the cut-off, sorry. But my answer would have been no, unless I had pre-shoot stipulation. I've never been asked by a publication for one

Always get one signed just encase I may need it in the future. If I was still using paper forms that would be a different story but since I can now e-mail a pdf and file it away in less than 5secs I use them all the time.

Graeme - do you get it electronically signed, or just send it to them by email then file it when they post it back?
