Living in London means Covent Garden is no longer really "exciting' and i find it too rammed with tourists

But took the little one down there yesterday and noticed they had like a "Farmers market" food set up with cooked and cold food for sale. Having seen this a few times i have found they are overpriced rubbish

well..... i was wrong ! very very wrong. It was excellent, As good as Borough Market and very well priced for everyone.
Not sure if its a Saturday thing only at this time of the year ? But the stalls where doing great . seems like they had all agreed to be sensible, sell more and walk away with less waste .

Worth a visit

Yup, Eat St is actually round the back of Kings Cross (between the station and Goodsway). Only on Weds, Thurs and Fri.

Some cracking stalls - almost too much choice for lunch!!
