For Xmas I'm planning on getting one of those 'pod' coffee machines for a relative. Trouble is, I'm not a coffee fan - so don't know too much about which version is better than others (There seem to be 3/4 pod types available).

Any suggestions on which is the best? Will be used for mainly tea/coffee rather than chocolate etc.

Budget for the machine is about 100 GBP, then I'll get a few pods to go with it. Was looking at the Bosch TAS6515GB.

Actually, I know they've used Nespresso before at another relative's house and liked it.

Just bought the De'Longhi EN670, 200GBP - twice the budget, oh well.

Get 60GBP credit towards capsules too, as part of Nespresso offer - not so bad.

i have the magimix nespresso citz and milk, cost around 190 but worth every penny. i actually won the same type of machine the other night but made by krups.

for 100 you have the nespressoessenza manual and bodum milk frother from amazon but the biggest drawback is you have to manually stop the water flow where as mine you puch the button and get a perfect measured expresso or lungo

Magimix Nespresso but buy the milk frother seperate (if at all) as the nespresson machine on it's own comes with a much smaller base and takes up a lot less space.

Ive had a few machines but this is my favourite by far
