Can I get a cold if I've got a cold?

Had a bit of a cold since the weekend, seem to be getting over it now, just a bit bunged up and sniffy.

Anyway, just spent three hours on the train next to someone coughing and spluttering and sneezing everywhere.

Which leads me to wonder, can I get his cold? Or will the fact that I have a cold save me from his, if you see what I mean?

Aslong as it's a new cold virus your bodys never met before then yes you can.

I believe double pneumonia is an infection of both lungs, rather than being two different infections. And yes, you can get 2 colds at the same time, but I suspect it will be the same virus that you have already.
