Bit of a dilemma. Don't want to ruin these.
Got married over 2yrs ago and as gifts I got 3 woll pans ( not a set) have never used them as the OH (wife) uses spoons, metal pincers and anything else that can scrape and scratch.
Have been told by a few that it's best never to wash with soap and/or scourer and that kitchen roll, hot water and a good wipe is the best way to maintain the life.
As they have been collecting dust until now, what's the best way to keep them at near perfect use?
Have a sauté pan, Grill pan and one that looks the size of a paella pan.

As Roger said, it's a pan....use it.
My global knives get used, washed, dishwashed and used again. They are not treated like samurai swords.
Yep mine too, they are just lumps of steel, not deity's My global knives get used, washed, dishwashed and used again. They are not treated like samurai swords.

The pans cost just over £400 and i would prefer to keep them in best condition as well as use them rather than left in a box at the back of beyond.
Shame not to look after them as they will last us for years.
Well, Woll has a link to looking after them:Shame not to look after them as they will last us for years.

Me, I'd use them and sling them in the dishwasher. I'm sure they would still last for years, had my le cruset pans for 20 years and they still look and cook fine.

Pledge. Or, you could invest in some silicone utensils and actually use them. Handwash if you really really must. For me, life is too short to own cookware that doesn't go in the dishwasher. It's one of the reasons I rarely cook with my Mauviel saucepans, they demand too much maintenance.

Pledge? I guess the lemon one may add something to pan fried chicken! Or, you could invest in some silicone utensils and actually use them. Handwash if you really really must.
