Does anyone know if (and where) you can get the old style winter longs much favoured by old-school roadies and gnarly old tourers?

They were black wool/acrylic, often with 'world champion' detail on the ankle cuffs.

Have ebayed and googled with zero success frown

'Cycling plus fours' - That'll have Garlick's country gent radar pinging like Kerry Katona's microwave when there's a two for one offer at Iceland.

How odd. I thought plus 4s were tweed shooting trousers.

Anyway, despite the undercurrent of ridicule, I am very grateful for you knowing about the full length ones. Just what I need for my chilly Sunday morning rides.

FYI they have to paired with a hat like this and a rolled up rain cape under the saddle for the full CTC look wink

I prefer the beanie they have on the Tudor Sports site to be honest!

Yeah, I am going for the old touring cyclist look...it makes it more fun when you overtake a MAMIL

You forgot to mention the ankle zips.

[Sniff] Fond memories.

Between you and me, I still have a pair in my personal museum.
