Anyone got any experience using these guys for general servicing and fettling of Speed Six cars? I'm open to PM's if necessary.

They popped up on my radar the other day (a business card was left under my wiper) but I've never heard of them before. They're very close to where I keep my car these days so could come in very handy.

Apologies for the slow reply to this, but I have personal experience of Willow. Nick has a long history with TVR and is a thoroughly nice chap. He used to be service manager of the TVR place at Henley, IIRC. He did the body-off chassis restoration on my Chimaera, and I'm very happy with his work. Not only is his work good quality, but he's good at keeping you informed of how things are going. The job was finished roughly on time and on budget.

He has close links with Str8Six - in fact, they outsource much of their chassis work to Willow.

I recommend you call in and have a chat with him. I'm certain he'd do routine servicing.

Yes I am having the whole body off.Where are you based Ozmira, its worth a visit to any TVR specialist to get a feel of the place and a chat with the owner about exactly what you are after.

ive visited quiet a fue in and around the surrey area, i went as far as oxford and kent. for a new chassis fitted with new lines ect... it seems to be around the 6k mark. at least thats what ive been quoted. i know it needs doing and it will possibly increase the market value of the car (not that i intend on selling anytime soon), i know its a long job to do and i cant do it my self as i have no where to do it but 6k give or take a fue hundred pounds is a lot of money.

i'm based on the surrey hampshire border.

I had to make the decision of whether the car is a keeper, and If I was going to upgrade to a Tuscan. Keeping the Chimaera was the best option for me, so the tuscan money went on the Chim, and i cant wait for the results of the refurb. I would say 4k is a good ball park figure. And remember its about £1500 just for outrigger replacement. With a full body refurb there is piece of mind that everything has been done and changed. Good luck with your decision as all Trevors are great and always puts a smile on my face
