NEPHers new monthly meeting place - well possibly

Shafto's bar & restaurant just west of Spennymoor (no jokes about tvrbobby-shafto's). <br> <br>The pub is in the grounds of the Whitworth Hall Country Park Hotel and overlooks a lake surrounded by deer. Lots of big tables inside and plenty of seating outside and there's a good, reasonably priced selection on the food menu. The car park is speed bump free, spacious and has a fabulously loose surface so please don't be tempted, as I was, to donut make this a weekday meet because there's so much PH stuff happening over the next few weekends. <br> <br>Suggested dates <br> <br>Tuesday 13th July <br> <br>Thursday 15th July <br> <br>Tuesday 20th July <br> <br>Thursday 22nd July <br>

My July and August diary is virtually full, so I'll have to be really lucky to fit in with the plans.

Got so much to do and so little time, oh shite I forgot the wifes Birthday on the 2nd August. I'd better fit in an evening meal there aswell.

You lot just plan it and i'll see if I can fit it in.

I have no life, and can make any of the above dates! (Subject to spousal baby-sitting, obviously).

On a long term view, Thursdays would be marginally better for me than Tuesdays, but I could still manage either.

It's just that one club I'm meets on the Tuesday, and anothe club runs on the Thursday.

Scratch that, I'd be happy with either of the Tuesdays, the other club meets on the first tuesday, so there's no clash.

I should have my embroidary finished in time Bob.

I'm in more than three clubs.
There's the P'Hers, TVRCC, WSCC (Westfields), Club Marcos International, Marcos Owners Club and the one on Thursday nights isn't car related, it's a camera / photography club.
I'm also in a couple of climbing clubs, although they're not clubs in the traditional sense, you have to be a club member in order to use the facilities.

So long as the meeting isn't the first tuesday of the month, I shouldn't have a problem.

Thanks, I thought so. Every time I find somewhere it turns out to be near someone's home. You'll have to travel south and meet up with me somewhere so we can drive in together.

If anyone requires overnight accommodation, Bomb can offer the following:

• Single room - £20 per night
• Double room - £18 p.p per night
• Double room (en suite) - £20 p.p per night


Full English breakfast is included.

(if anyone stays --- can you keep a lookout for some good white Egyptian cotton towels? I’m sure I left them out when Mr & Mrs Bomb stayed at mine)

Actually the rates have now increased for the summer season.

I'll bring your towels back next time. I've finished cleaning next doors dog with them now. ( His dose of worms has also cleared up too !!)
