Carpet update...
Discussion
I know a few people were asking about carpet retrims earlier. Well, I've just used Christopher Neil's trimmer for a full set and new rear window and:
a) It is back a week early
b) It looks bloody fantastic. A better fit and finish than the factory originals.
It cost £850 + VAT for carpets AND rear window so split I guess 600/250. Good work though and has transformed the interior of the car

are you going to put some pics on here so that we can see what it looks like ,as i would like to compare it with mine as i have just done the carpets myself and they fit really well and look very good , i just have the binding to finish , the car is red and the interior is light grey with red binding but i am now wondering if i should have gone for red carpets ..
ah, sorry guys... taking a pic didn't even cross my mind. I will take one this week... and post it about 6 weeks later when I get the film developed!!! or get one of the guys at P.Fest to take a pic with a digi-cam. I thought about the option of red carpets, then thought it may be a bit too over the top, hence a very light grey carpet/mid-grey piping to contrast with the mid-grey leather, plus dark charcoal grey alacantra insert on the door section. Just gives it a nice contrast without being over the top.
I have also got a set of charcoal TVR over mats and a set of red ones for best
read 'best' as 'just for the hell of it'!
The bit I am really impressed with is where all the piping follows the angles around the rear bulkhead and suspension turrets... absolutely perfect and better than originals.
Timewise, I gave them about three weeks notice and the actual retrim took about a week, rear window aswell.
