Short term respite for depression sufferer

My mother is currently fighting her way through a particularly deep and lengthy bout of depression. Treatment is on a number of levels but right now she needs a bolt hole where she can have some time to herself when pressure builds up at home.

A private hospital with staff that understand the condition is really what we are looking for rather than a place for long term treatment.

Recommendations gratefully received.
