Christmas in Cannes

I know it must vary a lot, but what sort of weather might I expect over Christmas week down there - is it worth a trip do you think?
Anywhere interesting to visit or will it all be shut over the hols?

I took this in Cannes the other day!

Quite rare though so you should be ok, you get some good warm and sunny winter days down here and most places bar the beach cafes open over the Christmas period.
