BF3 - Funniest Death, Funniest Kill

So, what are they so far?

Today I shot a plane with a tank and thought that was pretty damned funny.


Funniest death was driving a humvee off the helipad at Damavand Peak and staying inside it as I didn't think it would get damaged. It wasn't. For a split second, then it blew up and took me with it.

Engineer repair tool kill, by accident. I ran out of rounds with my shotgun ( yes poor skills) but scrolled down the mouse wheel in panic and had the blow torch....err grewsome. But fun.

I killed someone with the EOD bot.

I shot a gunner out of one of the smaller jeeps, and his mate then went to run me over.
Again, I stood firm, and gave him a headshot, but I was still left with an unmanned jeep heading towards me.

I think I must have gone to jump out of the way, and all of a sudden, I was in the driving seat, and stole their jeep too.

funnyest death has to be waiting to start the game in a z-11 heli all manned up turned it round to look at my mate in the other 1, next think you know its falling off the edge of the boat with 10 secs left to go till the game starts, x1 suicide x3 team kills even before the game started i was lol'ing

Bailing out of my crippled Helicopter to safety only for it to land on me around 5 seconds later.

Funnyest kill so far is headshotting a sniper on the roof of the large warehouse over 'B" on Noshahr Canals with the main gun of the A1 Abrams, first shot. I was behind 'A' on the railway tracks.

Funniest death? I tend to find them annoying rather than funny, but crashing my jet into a heli I was meant to be shooting had kind of a poetic justice to it.

Being shot down over the enemy jet spawn and landing in a new jet.
Then running over the poor enemy pilot on the ground before he could get out of the way.

Went on a c4 and knife rampage inspired by operation asshat.

Sprint perk, op metro rush, attacking the first set of mcoms. Leapt over the boulders in front of a, to see three guys prone on the top. All three saw me, and were struggling to turn/rise/shoot as I leapt and dodged and stabbed all three in turn. Must have been 5-6 stabs needed overall as they were frantically changing direction.

Couldn't do it again, but I was laughing manically all the way through.

Oh, destroyed the mcom straight after too.

Playing thurs night with a friend, I was gunner in his tank. Shouted at him that there was a below coming, started shooting. He tells me he's gonna join in with the coax gun.

I see a shell launch into the cockpit - he got a headshot on the pilot.

Then the bloody thing crashed into us and disabled the tank. Ho hum.

My favourite has been parachuting in from a silly high altitude, taking down a chopper with a rocket launcher from above (and killing the 2 folks in it, natch), and getting 2 more kills before I'd hit the ground by throwing a grenade at the flag, and dropping a couple of C4s in.

Funniest death, probably stealing a jet that someone had loaded up with C4. Barsteward let me get some good air too before he blew it.

I got my furthest headshot on someone I couldn't even see by firing a Kornet randomly in the direction of the other team.

Silliest death was probably when I accidentally flew a Frogfoot straight into that big red and white tower...

Funniest kill so far would be, piloting an F-18 in a steep decline at a tank on the road coming down from the petrol station on Kharg Island, emptied my rocket pods which disabled the tank but for some reason didn't destroy it, so switched to the minigun to finish it off and boom it went. Unfortunately the ground was fast approaching by this point, and I was frantically pulling up to narrowly avoid bottoming out onto the ground. So narrowly, that the engineer who'd given up repairing his mates tank and was now running back to base for cover - was rent asunder by my left wing and deposited somewhere in the ocean near the US aircraft carrier. My first and only jet roadkill so far.


Funniest (or most embarrassing) death would probably be sneaking past a choke-point on Metro, behind a group of unwitting enemies, mentally preparing Rambo quotes and lowering the light machine gun at a group of them I took aim from the hip, only to fire a single shot (into the wall) as I'd forgotten to reload. Whoops. I was promptly gunned down, and subsequently teabagged by half their team on the killcam.

I think my funniest death was when I was watching a bit of air to air... Then my team shot down the enemy plane, and I began to cheer, just as it landed on my head........... That'll teach me to stare at the vanquished.

Funniest kill - I think it was when I managed to nail a sniper in the tower on the first base of Firestorm, with a tank, from the ridge. His soflam pointed out his position and my optical sights spotted him.. He fairly flew upwards and then down, down, down from the tower........ Actually, saying that today I RPG'd a chopper and as it crashed it got me a road kill...... Still no idea what happened....

Funniest kill is either a blind shoot down of a Havoc with the main gun on a Abrams or nerfing an attack helo with a jet and then somehow flying away with no damage.

Funniest death is pretty much any of my attempts to fly a helo
