Mini camcorder compatible with Windows Movie Maker

A friend at school wants to buy a few 'flip cam' type devices for work so the kids can use them to make presentations etc. We have 'flip cams' at the moment but we need to convert the video to make it compatible with windows movie maker which is easy to use and on all the school workstations.

Can anyone reccomend a device which will work more easily, ideally it will plug in and the students can simply import the clips into movie maker.

P.s budget is around £100 per recorder, probbaly looking at buying 3 or 4.
