Hotel recommendations please!?

Hi all.
I'm looking to book somewhere for a couple of nights between Xmas and New Year for myself and the GF. Got to be rural, quiant, comfortable with a nice big open fire to sit by with a drink!! I've looked at a few, well quite a few from Ballachulish to Perthshire (don't want to go 'much'further in case the weather is bad!), and to be fair most seem pretty nice and fit the bill, but taking a look on Trip Advisor doesn't really read well.
Budget isn't that important for the right place, but I'm looking at ballpark figures of £140-150 per night.
Any recommendations greatly appreciated!!
