Can any one tell me whether the pre 2000 SL's were fitted with traction control systems. If so was it an option or standard equipment. Also what year was it introduced.

99MY onwards (out Jun 98) SL's had ESP as standard before that they had ASR as standard with ESP as a cost option of c£900. I think that cars pre 93 or so had nothing but the roll bar to protect the driver!
