I have a few sets on my bikes - tandem mtb, winter bike and full sus. IIRC they are the ceramic bearing versions, and have been fit and forget - 4-5 years now. They shed mud better than the shimano ones the replaced. Are theyworth the money? Probably not but they do look smart and work very well.

Every cycle purchase is justified in fractions of a tankful these days. As they represent about 1/3 of a tank I can easily justify them biggrin

The only problem that then leaves is I'll probably need a gold chain to match the centres hehe

Problem solved...titanium nitride chain/cassette is gold in appearance and reassuringly expensive (£320 for the cassette).
