35mm film processing

I have just bought my self a minolta srt 100b off ebay and now am wondering the best place to get the film processed. Dose anyone on here shoot film and where do they get there stuff processed?? Also is there a specific method to scan the negatives onto the computer? Thanks for any help.

There might be a good local independent shop near you that will do it, failing that, Jessops. Are you shooting colour or black and white? If the latter, and you'll be doing a lot, you might want to consider learning how to do it yourself. As for scanning negatives, you can either get a pro to do it for you (which can get quite pricy) or you can invest in a dedicated negative scanner. I think the Nikons are meant to be pretty good. Again, it might be quite expensive if you're just taking a few shots, but may work out cheaper in the long run. I understand it can be quite a long process to get really good results.
