Spitfire: 70 years in a peat bog

A nice piece to read through this morning. A Spitfire lost in an Irish peat bog 70 years ago is recovered and one of the guns made good to fire again.

One wonders if the Merlin could be made to sing once more too.

Bit of a wince at the start of the video though - the Spits taking off sound more like the Japanese invading Pearl Harbor.
