On 23rd June this Wednesday there is a Sports & Classic Car show in the evening from 1830 hrs to 2130 hrs in the market place in Beverley town centre.
Cars attending include Ferraris, Lotus, TVR, Lambo. Should be fun!

Bollox! I don't get the Griff back until next week ready for PistonFest.

I might take a drive over as I'm pretty local, though depends what time I get home.

On another point... nice car... I 'd actually quite like to scrounge a passenger ride sometime if you don't mind Geoff... I was happy with the proposition of possibly changing the Griff next season to either a Tuscan S or a new Marcos TSO and, I was quite happy with this dilema... until I saw the drop dead gorgeous black /cream 348 Spyder in the PH classifieds this morning!!!

Picking brains and beer seems like a definite must sometime soon

We also have shed loads of gettogethers and drives out in Yorks... mainly TVR granted, but not exclusively. Having a laff being the foremost priority

[cough]TSO[cough]. Spent a looooooong time on the Marcos stand at the motorshow chatting to the guy from Mole Valley about it. Just a shame about the interior.

Should have the Tuscan at full S spec (performance/styling, the lot) within a month to six-weeks now... wouldn't go changing that for a 348 once it's running (not that it isn't a lovely looking car).

Was going to journey over, but the sky clouded over and turned black over here so I gave it a miss. The weather looks good in the pics too.

Glad it went well.

Best Regards

Bloody 'ell Gem you're quick with the pics you are

You missed a good night Martyn, rounded off with a pint in the pub watching the Czechs beat Germany

Good to meet you Justin (Kenyon) and Geoff. Was going to put the Brigg meet down on the calendar, then realised I am in Spain, hopefully catch you again at one of the other meets.

Like I said last night, if you get a bit frustrated at there not being many runs out, both organised and adhoc, keep an eye on the Yorkshire forum... there's about a dozen 'usual suspects' that are always doing something or another to do with doing what the cars were made for, driving

It's not always just TVRs either, one of us has recently defected to the dark side... if you can call a bright yellow 911 turbo with matching interior dark that is

And don't forget, there's always EuroHoon!

Yeah - but look at the interior of the black one

I was saying to Bob, out of the four colours they do, red, black, yellow, and blue I wouldn't mind any. I would probably work on the principle that "everybody goes for red" ... and you see VERY VERY few blue ones... mind you, if you're going to make a statement then........

Yellow it is then ! And you forgot the silver colour too however I would not want one in that colour (Not that I can afford one any more !)

Bob

PS I like the blue too.

You know me well ... and I hadn't forgotten, but I thought they only brought silver in on some of the later cars... but you're right, silver is waaay too subtle for a Ferrari

edited to correct crap grammar!
