Thought I should announce it on there incase any ROs were planning on convoys their on the Sunday.
(Its a bank holiday Monday on 30th August).

The usual schedule has been shifted forward by a day so now;
Saturday: Practice/Qualify
Sunday: The usual Saturday racing
Monday: The usual Sunday racing

Either day will be good but Monday will be the main event.

Tell me about it. Every weekend from Le Mans onwards gives me a choice of motoring events to go to.

We need more sunshine so we can have them in the summer too.

Adam

Have you actually called them on the phone to find this out?

I've just chacked there website and its still saying Sunday for the main racing!

I cant call cause I'm 5500 miles away on Holiday but if you've not spoken to them could you? Or someone please to find out for sure before anybody changes any arrangements or people start getting confused.

Phil any chance you could do this as a big favour mate?

Thanks
Craig

My understanding is that the race 'weekend' takes place on Sunday/Monday - i.e. qualifying and limited racing on Sun and a full day of racing on Monday.

This isn't a recent change - it has always been in the calendar as this.

Regards

Andy

Some people werent clear on it and were expecting the normal schedule as per the other races where the main event is the Sunday.

Just thought Id clear it up and let everyone know that its on the Monday since its the bank holiday.

No worries.
Hopefully lots of regions will attend.

I'll be going (as always).
Been a really good GT season IMO and I strongly recommend that people attend.

If Le Mans was your first GT race and you liked it then come along to this. They'll be a couple of TVR T400R's and the Tuscans race to keep all the TVR fans happy.
As well as that there are plenty of other races all day. One of my favorites being the Caterhams. The racing is so tight with so many cars battling for first.

Please email me if anyone wants any info. Im happy to help.
Also happy to help with any TVRCC planning.
