CS5 .psd help

hey just a quick one I used cs5 for a 22 pic pano and now it will only let me save it in a psd file (298mb!!) how would I save that in a jpg, i have done nothing different to what I always do

If it still has layers you'll need to flatten the image to save it has a jpg. CS3 prompts to save a copy if you choose the jpg option on photo with layers.

or just use save as and select .jpg from the drop down menu, which will automatically do all the flattening for you

thats the thing i have flattened it and its still not letting me, i have even started over this is the only pan thats ever done this

8 bit mode perhaps
16 bit mode perhaps
32 bit mode perhaps

still no luck, is there a jpg size limit?

never come across a size limit, but just to make sure, flatten the file, select all, copy, create a new file, paste in, try saving that as a jpg - just in case it's an odd file setting

I created a pano in CS5 with 30+ jpgs and it was a 1.5gb .PSD

Saved fine as a jpg so if there is a limit, it's a big one!

might be down to how much ram you have, i have reduced it to 30,000 pixel length and that has worked

Shrink it down until it all fits on the screen, then hit 'Print Screen', copy and paste into new window...
