Hey midland PHers!

My dads van has been stolen in Leicestershire, last seen heading towards Countersthorpe & Blaby 03/11/11 at 1:30.

Reg no is RB04 ALE

White transit van, long base, high roof, dent in the front of the sliding door on the left.

If its seen please call the police to inform them of the whereabouts.

Also call me on 07875745302.

Thanks everyone!

Seen a recent increase in white van activity recently with the mobile scrap merchants and a lot of new ones .I'm in Warks ,but on an estate which sees a lot of scrap men ,and just over the border from Blaby so I'll keep my eyes open .You always know when they're around - they drive slowly either shouting or using a bugle .

Been out around Leicester and been keeping a look out. No joy though. If it was seen heading towards Countesthorpe and Blaby though might be worth you taking a drive up Hospital Lane to see if it's visible on the pie key camp at the Countesthorpe end.

Sorry to say, but if it's there -swift change of plates a it won't show on ANPR( if legal it will show up as Transit ). We had one Fiesta doing a delivery run to local (suspected drug)dealer .One week car was Purple (as per DVLA) .Next week car was Blue .Same reg .What attracted attention was the parking - inch perfect ,whereas all other visitors just stop .
You might have to look for a van with some sort of ID.

New van has been purchased as we cant go without it =/.

Insurance will be calling us within 10 days to sort everything out.

This time we are having the van signwritten so if anything happens like this again it'll be much easier to spot!

I still think bds should be shot on sight -_-

I don't think this was a targeted pre-meditated steal. Just an opportunity thing.
Ill just tell the old fools to take the keys out of the bloody van when they go in to deliver!
