A bit of a long shot really, but if you don't ask........

Does anyone know the whereabouts of the/a Speed 12? I believe at one stage, it was 'housed' at Bourton On The Water in Gloucestershire, but I'm not sure if it has been sold and moved on from there. The reason I ask, is that I am organising together with the Wiltshire TVR Car Club and Neil Garner MotorSport a TVR Open Day at Neil's on the Wilts/Glos border next Easter Saturday - (all info now on the TVR Events page - under Easter events) Basically we are looking for some 'star' TVRs and the Speed 12 would ideally put the 'crown' on it. I know everybody's TVR is special and everyone with a TVR is welcome to the free day out, but if anyone knows of any special TVRs out there that are a crowd puller, we love to hear from you. On a different note, we are honoured to have the guys from D&C Trim of Blackpool to show off their expertise together with a rolling road and many other trade stands. Will keep you guys updated of any positive outcomes
Many thanks for your help

Both the original Speed 12 and the one that was being rebuild after it are owned by one and the same PH'er...

its up in blackppol I believe, have you not seen that it will be on display at the NEC next week? it is not drivable and it has been a PITA to try and organise transport for it I believe as it will only fit on a rac trailer as it is that low and that wide!

It will indeed be at the NEC next week.

Not too difficult to get transport for it but it needs a wide and low full race trailer and they don't come cheap (The cost was the main issue)

Graham, who owns the car, will be at the NEC with the car so it's probably best to come to talk to him at the show. It might be that his new car may be running by the time your event comes round.

If you can't run to the cost of transporting W112 why not try to get a couple of the Typhon/T440s?

Thanks guys - for your quick response - much appreciated. I will write to G1ABB
As for the search of a Typhon, I have already written to one of the owners, I now await his response - fingers crossed.

If you're interested in going and are in the TVRCC have a look at the front page of the TVRCC site for a link to using the club discount code.
