Went to see Baxter Dury (Ian Dury's son) at the Arlington Arts Centre near Newbury last night after buying his cd "Happy Soup" a few weeks ago. Excellent cd and a top gig (not a great attendance though).

Well worth a listen.

I'm addicted to his Miami at the moment. I think the phrase is "banging"?

Not seem him live. I may go.

Seems rather stuck in a groove, Len Parrot's Memorial Lift was a great album.

I quite like Miami but the backing singer's bit I cannot stand, really spoils it.

OP...Big thanks for sharing. Ian Dury is one of my all time musical heroes and the fact that his son is recording completely passed me by!

My word, he's certainly his father's son, isn't he!

Wonderful stuff.

Worth a look. Baxter and the band live on French TV from a few years ago.
