I've recently fitted a set of Carbon cans to my Tuscan S, and people who have heard it along side other Tuscans fitted with the same cans have commented that it sounds different.

It was certainly lots louder than another CCC equiped Tuscan (non S) earlier on today, and it also has a different sound to Alf Essex's CCC equiped car, which is exactly the same spec as mine.

Any ideas?

Ed - the reason yours sounds different to a standard tuscan is that the S has a larger bore, hence sounds louder and meaner and pops and farts more.I've had this conversation with Whitey and my S is much louder ahermm!! than his and both of us hace CCC cans.
The only way standard cars can make it louder than an S is to have the cats taken out.

However the only thing I can think of why yours is different to Alf Essex's S is perhaps that his is a girls colour and yours is more manly....

well I'm not sure if yours really is louder or not Salty!!

But yes possibly the S exhaust bore size is larger than the Red Rose, it is certainly larger than a standard Tuscan.
