Brilliant,under the radar albums

Stemming from the brilliant debut albums thread, what about fantastic albums from later on that groups have done that have gone under the radar because the band is out of fashion or for some other reason?
Mine world be:
The liberty of Norton Folgate by Madness, this is a stunning album that deserves more than just the critics praise, it is a carefully thought out semi concept piece with dark undertones and sometimes chilling lyrics about a darker London of old.
Madness started out from Ian Dury style lyrics, adopted by Two Tone with the Ska music scene of the late 70's but they evolved into so much more.
The first album was indeed a Ska based album, by the second a more in depth look into life and the third (seven) a brilliant dark and deep look at life in the city.
Madness went their own way for next coulpe of albums, some briliant tracks hidden in between run of the mill stuff, Our House being one, you can hear it now as you read this!
But Liberty is a killer, you should really try and listen to it online or just take a punt, MK11 is for Jag fans etc but the album is just......

Good call!Noah and the Whale's First Days of Springs is one of my favourites. Desperately beautiful breakup songs and one deliriously happy one!
Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros' Up from Below is another brilliant brilliant album and not at all well known. And I don't think Broken Social Scene have made a bad album yet and deserve to be bigger than Arcade Fire.
