Hey folks,

Thought I'd do a wee write up on this weeks return of the porker after a wee bit of care from Stuart, the car was in with the following list of wee jobs to look at :

- Low whine on start
- Oil & Filter change
- Engine & overall condition review
- Investigate bank 2 o2 lambda's
- Investigate high lepton vibration at front
- Check condition / wear of suspension, brakes and tyres

Stuart was great to work with gave the car a thorough going over; found a couple of proactive maintenance bits needing doing so car back :

+ Oil change done
+ Drive belt - was on originals while still below 48k miles (by a long way) was getting tired
+ Flange bolts corroded near side turbo - replaced and condition checked rest
+ MAF cleaned, voltage was good on test before clean but much more stable post clean (was part of the CEL / lambda investigation)
+ Radiators checked and coolant topped (have to keep an eye on centre rad - ok just now but may have tiny leak)
+ Balanced wheels - rears were way out - vibration gone
+ Heatshields sorted

Plus a bunch of other wee tidy ups, clean bill of health on all other checks; confirmed car was running well and "...still very tight..." in all a big :thumb up:

Discussed some mods to the car and will back to Stu for them. Will be getting Forge DVs, possible REVO remap and will also look at uprating to silicone boost hoses... think I may go for this

+1 for StuP

I told you Stu was good. Glad your happy with his work and your car is going well. Upgrade ready for next summer. I'm doing my suspension just now, but use Stu for my servicing and anything that i'm not confident to tackle myself (or when i make an ar*e of it).

Big thumbs up for StuP.

Does the work on my 996 turbo now. Recently fitted DV's, and some other bits. Will be going in over christmas for a re-map and maybe an exhaust.

I can be difficult to please with regards to my car as it's my 'baby' but total confidence in Stuart.
