The more I listen to it, the better it gets. The second album is supposed to be very psychedelic - he is working with these http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LEUeosxT9-4

Just goes to show who the real musical genius was in Oasis. Liam had the voice, but his brother was/is the superior musician. Beady Eye are just a pale imitation of Oasis IMO. Sign of good things to come from Noel.

Worth a listen then?

I Know Liam was the voice but i enjoyed Noel singing on some of their old stuff like rockin chair and half the world away, if it is stuff like this then i will buy the album.

:nods: From what I've heard so far, prefer them not only to Beady Eye but - dare I say it? - Oasis as well (at least most stuff after the first few albums). Brilliant. smile

Didn't rate Beady Eye at all. If only because it was months before I stopped wondering what B.D.I. stood for boxedin

Cheers, will get the album then.

Like their early stuff too, first two albums are excellent and then there are some very good songs on their later stuff mixed in with tracks that are ish.

Really like the new album, better than Beady eye by a country mile.

Lots of good music about at the moment like Kasabian both Gallagher bros bands and the Roses are having another go at it "Madchester".

Really looking forward to Noels next album especially if its going to be as said above.

I think it is the best thing to come out of the Oasis camp for quite some time. Really liking 'Everybody's On The Run'.

I would have thought it's fairly obvious from my post.

Oasis were the most ridiculously over-rated band I've ever known. The hype that surrounded them was nothing short of embarrassing, They were average at best.

I like Noel though, wouldn't mind hearing this new album of his. smile

Over rated from which point , I remember buying Definetely maybe (first album) and not many of my friends even knowing who they were ? .

As for Oasis being over rated at the time they were in there prime they did not have much competition in the fact they were essentially an english band writing there own songs and using real instruments rather than the drum over dubed computer generated tosh that was about in that era.

Also the hype around was not them but the record company, and possible people who welcomed a good guitar band .
