white transit (same one seen on crossover on A90??) with same sort of slim devices as positioned either end of Tay bridge. Monitoring north and south carridgeways.

Oh, positioned on overpass just up from J6 northbound.
I've seen one parked at the fife side of the Forth bridge on occassions, thankfully the local scamera partnership leave this end of the M90 to the traffic plod.
I can only guess they're making enough money on the A92
