Sadly not me. Got a fair bit of work to do on the Ultima before I would feel happy taking it on track again (did the KH trackday school on Sunday - bit like introducing kiddies to crack ). Main issue is figuring out whether locking my LH rear going into Duffus is the car or my bad driving.

I have signed up and will be there work permitting. Interesting braking problem Dave, didn't spin it entering Duffus I hope. Any other impressions of the Ultima on the track?

Heh heh. No I managed to avoid that! It was a very scary the first time I felt brave enough to open up to full throttle on the pit straight. Arrived at Duffus about 30 mph faster than previous laps. It was a bit exciting for a bit trying to get the car to slow down enough to make the corner...but I still had enough tarmac to avoid the gravel.

I think that brake bias has a lot to do with the problem. Got a bit much on the back. Need to check if one of the calipers is binding though.

I'm just amazed at what a capable car it is. When I got my braking and turn in right there was just a trace of understeer but it basically just stuck to the road. It was great when the brakes got properly warmed up and the tyres got a bit sticky. It also didn't seem to be phased by the KH kerbs which I'd been worried about but I'm a long way from being confident through Duffus and the Chicane. It makes a huge difference having a passenger. The front end is feels a lot more stuck down particularly through Butchers. I can see what you mean about having a bag of sand in the footwell helping a lot in the wet...
