Hi folks

Got a new thermostat fitted to the puma today. Lovely. Turned the ignition and first thing I noticed was my radio displaying my reg plate...and you know what that means!

Battery has been disconnected and I dont have the code. I've never bought a car from someone and been given the radio code with it, why do people not just write it down!!

So, any advice on where to go to get my code in Dumbarton/Glasgow area?

Reason I ask is.. when I had the same happen on my Fiesta (which had the same radio) a well known large chain of car selling type folks had my car for over an hour, hit me with my bill and a list of 'recommended repairs' that they just so happened to find whilst they were at it smile

Cheers

try asking once registered on fordownersclub*dot*com in audio section giving model and serial no. chap there will give you necessary code.

Another thing to try is take out the ashtray and look underneath it 2 of my fords had stickers there with radiocode on them. Good luck.
