Great Gable/Lakes B&B recommendation

About 20 years ago I used to go regularly to the Great Gable remembrance Sunday gathering in the Lakes. This year I intend to revive the tradition.

I have to get back to Herts on the Sunday, am I best to park in Seathwaite and tackle the walk from there which should give me a quick getaway, or stay overnight in in a B&B in the Wastwater area?

Any B&B recommendations wholehearedly accepted.

It can get a bit busy up there though!
