Which do you prefer for your winter break?

We like to bugger off somewhere warm in January. Perfect time - xmas is over, its ste weather (generally), spring is a long way off, and the new year work projects are all about to kick off. It's good to bugger off for 2wks and come back at the month end. Then we're only a month away til March, my bday and the beginnings of spring. Yay.

I only wish the far east wasn't such a bh to. Quite fancy Vietnam this time but hate the hassle/time getting there/back when the Carib/Mexico is direct and far closer. Meh.

Jet setting off somewhere warm for sure, why pay good money to be cold somewhere else when blighty is freezing and it's free?!
