I'm considering using the above garage in Loanhead to get some work done - haven't used them before, so was just wondering if anyone here has? Good/bad/indifferent? Their website suggests they work on some fairly tasty vehicles (much more so than the mundane stuff I'd be taking in) and they're local to me.

Anyone?

I have a female friend who is a mechanic for them.

I would not be willing to say yes, take your car to them as i no nothing about the place.

What i do know is if your car is worked on by her then you should have no issues with their service.

Carcraft can be trusted.

Old fashioned standards of service and personal attention in modern premises.

They look after my Fiesta MK2 with which I compete in the Scottish Sprint Championship, they have also done some work on my trailer and my more modern Renault Laguna road car.

Neil (the owner) just likes cars!!!!!!!! He is always there to answer any questions customers may have either technical or financial.

Cheers

Angus

To all the other more useful replies, many thanks. I got a good feeling from their own website and found a couple of good reviews on Google, so gave them a call. The car is with them now, which says it all I think. They definitely seem to be proper enthusiasts, which is what I was after; I'm just getting a couple of things done on the wife's old runaround at the mo, but am looking for somewhere that'll look after a few things on the TR at some point. I suspect I won't have to look much further.

The a link to the rules are at the bottom of every thread page and they are above the text box when you type a reply under "Rules of Posting" I'll supply you a link here

Also suggest you read this thread that Ted raised some 4 years ago, it's no different now to what it was when he owned the site.
