Does anyone know how i can get my soon to be 6 year old into karting in the Aberdeen area?

I have spoken with the indoor place in Aberdeen but they could not help as they need to be 8 and over.

Guessing that's Kartstart in Bridge of Don?

Could try Deeside Activities park near Lumphanan? That's the only other local place I know of!

get yourself up to grampian kartclub on a saturday before a race sunday. there will be plenty there to help out and likely give your son a shot of their cadet or honda. http://www.grampiankartclub.com/ iirc you can race the year of your 8th birthday so if he's a december 2012 birthday you could race from this january. Nothing stopping you from practicing at any age though some start at 5 or younger!
