rattle/squeak - any suggestions other than the obvious?!

I'm sure everyone has this problem - my glove compartment rattles/squeaks like a mouse on ecstasy - has anyone got a cure for this? Would a leather cream supple up the material and help to suppress it, or perhaps a small wedge in the gap?

Any solutions?!

If it's anything like mine the only cure I have found is ear plugs and loud music. I think it is a feature of all fiberglass bodied cars.

Increase revs to 4,500. Problem sloved Mine might squeek but if it does I can't hear it over the bd gear stick vibrating....and I can't even hear that with the roof off

Squeaks cured S2 to date

1. Bonnet rear corners, catches too loose
2. Doors - door frames set wrongly causing a clattery sqeak on bad road surfaces
3. Doors, window glass clatter due to poorly set windows seal at door top
4. Dashboard (in the area of the radio), dash set too far back and not held rigid enough, cured while fixing heater matrix


+ Something above / behind me when roof on.....not yet found or cured
