Coffe Machines

Hi all, the in-laws are asking what we want for Christmas and the suggestion of a coffee maker came up. Budget would be no more than £40 and we would like one that we can set up the night before and it runs on a timer for the morning. Apart from that I haven't the foggiest what to look for so I'm open to suggestions.
