On the road between Marbella and Ronda on the A397 last Saturday. It was either a 3R or M400, but sounded great, looked like you were with a group of bikes. Great road, on the way up we stopped for a coffee and watched a group of around 11 Ferrari's driving up and endless bikes.

Anyway if you are on here, thanks for making my day thumbup

Arr, that would be the beastie. That is one hell of a way to drive to take a trip into the mountains, am I right in thinking you would catch a ferry to Spain, then drive, or right across France and Spain, that would be an epic road trip!

Hi Paul,

Yep that was me on my way to Ascari,Had been invited to lunch and a few laps. Amazing I was spotted in Spain, shame I never saw you as we all stopped half way up at the cafe, would of been nice to bump into a fellow Nobler. Ascari was a great day and even with all the fezzas there the attention the Noble got was amazing never had so many pics taken.
I thought it best to follow the bikers up as it was my first run on that road and with a awful average of 10 deaths a year seemed a wise idea as they new the road so well and the police speed traps.

I went the channel tunnel route and drove through France into Spain, it was a great drive but long 1400 miles ,
Took my time and done two 8 hour stints with an overnight stay in the south of France.
Have been the ferry route before and did not fancy being couped up for 26 hours.

So thats where all the Ferrari's were going, didn't know Ascari was in that area. I can imagine 10 deaths watching some of the driving. Stark reminder is the motor bike riding boots left like grave stones at the side of the road and bunches of flowers on so many bends. But you can see what attracts them to that road and with great views. The road up to Cassares is pritty good too. The car sounded very nice as you passed us, we were in our hired Ford Focus, the urge to do a u turn and take chase was strong, but was never going to happen smile

Lol Well now you mention it, I do have plenty of room and secure parking so I suppose it would be rude not to, just my BBQ skills are a little like my mechanical skills so as long as ur prepared to cook the burgers, seems like a good idead, there are plenty of great roads and with Ascari just min away would be a great place to have some fun, have got friendly with a couple of instructors who very kindly fixed my car when the C clip seemed to vanish from my turbo wastage , also met Claus the owner who was a very nice guy, so I reckon with a little bit of east end charm I could poss get us plenty of track time at a small cost.

Let me know if you fancy an epic but a little scary road trip.

I too could be persuaded.

Nothing wrong with a bit of east end charm, I'm a good old essex boy and work in the east end a lot. Charm, sophistication and a bit of thuggery and dodgy dealing all thrown in. A marvellous blend.

apples n' pears, cor blimey guvnor, etc etc etc.

Well gents if your serios I can plan some great driving routes and get us invited to the super car and historic car club that is organised every year in Spain. The guy who runs it came over to me when he saw the car in Banus and gave me a personal invite which of course means a few of my friends too, I'm told that it's a very exclusive club with some awesome cars. Finish the trip off at Ascari with some timed laps.
Also for those of you that fancy some wake boarding a water sport afternoon.
If were gonna do it might aswell do it proper and ave a right giraffe .

So reckon you need to decide who wants to come and when and see if it works out,
I can sleep 6 and there's a hotel right over the road that's well priced and clean.
