TVR S1 Steering Column Nylon Bush

Hi Chaps - Does anyone know where I can get a new steering column bush from
Is it a standard Ford part from the Ford Escort?

Pretty sure it is - the best bet is if you can get it out and read some part numbers off it - either quote them to your ford dealer or stick them in google.

Thought the column was Sierra (but may well have many parts in common with Escort)?

Much better to replace with a proper bearing, kit available from TVR Car Parts

But you will still need the bush inside the bearing....

Must admit I thought he meant the triangular bush where the bottom of the steering column telesopes up inside the top section, not the bulkhead bearing or bush - but that's because I think I need that one, too.

Sorry for the confusion, its the one that always wears out after 6000 miles or so, think it would be best to go for the bearing option
