We've hired a villa for 10 days in Jan from osprey villas (as I'm sure we saw it linked here originally). Its a 5 bed place with a boat included.
Has anyone hired from these people before and do you have any tips on the area (places to go, shopping, groceries etc).
We're flying into miami from BDA and are just going to drive to Cape Coral . Anyone done this ? Did you go I75, or Route 41 (Presume there may be more to 'see' on Rt41 rather than the interstate ? )
Amazingly, if we flew from Miami to Fort Myers it would take almost twice as long as driving due to the flight timings...so may as well drive, stop somewhere for lunch and take our time..
I have a boat here so not worried about the Operation/Navigation side of things, more interested in things to do/go see while we're there. Sanibel/Captiva look like fun, can you navigate 'up river' too ?
