East Coast of USA Road Trip (USA '11)

Back in July, 5 of us hopped on a plane to JFK and drove from NYC to SW FLA (enough TLAs for you there?? ).

We had an absolutely awesome time and these are just a few of my photos I took. Only with a little point and shoot (I'd be fked if I was going to lug a DSLR + 2 lenses etc all over the place!).

Whilst we were on the move and I wasn't driving (to be honest, I drove probably 2,000 out of 2,600 miles!!), I edited a bunch up. Some were probably over-photoshoped - but I like the differing effects I achieved.

I am intrigued where that Round House is?

Yeah the first image is really nice, then the HDR kicks in

Put the hdr down and they will be much nicer

Not the first time I've heard that! I really like them - in that the colours are much more vibrant, which I prefer. It's probably just an excuse for not being able to take a photograph very well!

And, on others (e.g. the NYSE shots), I think they look awesome (ok - so they're not exactly a great representation of reality, but I like them!).

What I might do later on, is post the originals also and then see what you guys make of them in comparison to the originals (scary prospect!!).
