Rossion Seats?

Hi all

Does anyone know who makes the seats in the Rossion?. I am thinking about having my interior done, and really like the seats!

It's the M400 alcantara seat with the removable centre bits cross stitched in leather and the headrest part re-trimmed.

The m400 seats are very comfy so can only imagine these may be more so.

Has anyone tried putting different seats in? I find the standard ones are a bit unsupportive, particularly of my head.

I was wondering the same thing. I assume that now I have the floor out it would be a good time to look at changing the seat...

I did look into the having M400 seats years back but I believe there is some issue with the size of the centre tunnel on the earlier cars. Has anyone successfully fitted M400 seats to a GTO3?

yep i know 2 people who fitted M400 seats in their GT03R's... i'm changing my seats soon as well

I wasn't quite thinking as close to home as that. I just wondered if people had look at Recaro's or Sparco's offerings to see if anything fit.

Mr Chapppers, the M400 seat is a sparco seat and is branded so, try getting a drive in one, they are more supportive than the normal seat and being up in Aberdeen, I've made several 8-10 hour journeys to Jetstream/yellowshed/noblemotorsport and not been crippled on arrival. G

In the M400, didn't they make the tunnel smaller to remove the slight offset from the seating position? Perhaps that's where the comfort comes from. I think I'm not the only who gets a numb right bumcheek after a longish journey?

If they're sparco items, would they have an equivalent that could be purchased from sparco albeit with sparco branding?

As far as I know the centre tunnel is slightly narrower. The m400 seat is more 'wrap around' yer arse than re other one to stop you sliding on the leather on tight corners/track. I'm sure sparco must offer it as an off the shelf item, would be surprised if the seat was made specifically for noble.

Both Grant and myself have retrofitted M400 seats in our 3R's.
They were available new from the factory and just need to be mounted from the underside like the 3R seats.
I have mounted mine more upright so that I get back and shoulder support and can rest my head on the headrest whilst driving.
Over the winter I hope to get my interior completely re done so I will get more padding etc on the seats where I want it.

Steve have you kept the original position of the 3R seats or have you positioned them slightly more centrally as they would be in the 400?
It frustrates me being able to see more of 1 gauge than the other through the steering wheel

Being able to see one gauge? Bloody luxury. I swapped the steering wheel on mine and now I can't see anything! (Slight miscalculation in sizing)

There is not any movement possible side to side when fitting the new seats, but however I did move the steering wheel sidewards to align that to the seat angle and also to give me good visibility of the instruments....

My understanding is normal Sparco seats will fit and around £300 each. I'm looking at getting my STD ones re trimmed with M400 padding.

That's the offset pedal position. The M400 moved the seat over but for us old gits it doesn't remove it totally and hence I still get that numb feeling in the leg after 3-4 hours.

Certainly interested to hear what everyone else has done with their seats. I've never liked the 3R seats and will at some point within the year be changing them if I can.

Incidentally what model of Sparco seats do fit?

I fitted Recaro seats in mine with no issues other than you need to buy the Sparco aluminum side brackets & adapt to fit the seat, this is because the Recaco brackets bevell out too much at the bottom.
