McRae Stages Rally

The last event of the 2011 SRC calendar is this weekend. Based in Aberfeldy and taking place on Saturday 1st October. Anyone heading to watch?

There are limited tickets left for a drivers forum on the Friday night in the Moness Hotel and Country Club. Stars of the forum will be Stig Blomqvist, Jimmy McRae and the newly crowned British and Scottish Champion for 2011, David Bogie. Tickets are free of charge and are available by emailing the following address - [e-mail] Donations will be welcome on the night.

I'll be heading up. It's strange that all the stages are in the morning.

3 stages in the morning (Griffin, Auchtar Gate and Errochty) then the final stage (Craigvinean) early afternoon - things usually get delayed a little along the way.

You should have a chance to make 2 full stages though if speccying!

Haven't made it to any SRC events this year.Looks like I can't go to this one either.
